Tommy L. Stubblefield, Jr., of Liberty Hill, Texas passed away on December 27, 2017 at the age of 65. He was born on December 5, 1952 in Beaumont, Texas to Thomas L., Sr. and Theresa M. (Kennedy) Stubblefield. He passed at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Round Rock, Texas due to complications of bronchitis.
Tommy and Elizabeth L. (Boykin) Stubblefield were joined in marriage on September 28, 1974 and have been together for 43 years.
Tommy loved the outdoors. He always found joy in his gardening and woodworking. Hunting and fishing were also activities he found much pleasure in.
He loved God and his family and friends. Tommy loved people and served on many committees, including the Liberty Hill City Council. He served in the Lions Club for many years; always having a smile and bit of laughter for everyone.
He grew up in Beaumont. After many years in the corporate life, he opened his own business, Fiber Horizons Recyling, Inc., with his wife and settled in Liberty Hill, Texas.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Stubblefield. His son and his wife, Austin and Courtney Stubblefield of Fort Worth, Texas and two grandchildren, Ava and Avery Stubblefield. His Great-Aunt, Lula Bowlin of Shreveport. His half-sisters and their husbands, Christy and Travis Short of Beaumont, Texas, and Carol and Roger Sassman of Austin, Texas, and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Ash Lorraine Stubblefield, his three half-brothers and his parents.
A Memorial Celebration Service of his life will be held on January 13, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Beck Funeral Home, 1700 E. Whitestone Blvd., in Cedar Park, TX 78613.
There will be lite refreshments and coffee afterward in the Reception Room until 5 p.m.
