City of Liberty Hill restricts water use


Effective immediately, all City of Liberty Hill water customers and members are prohibited from using landscape irrigation systems, automatic sprinkler systems, and hose-end sprinklers at all times. Customers and members can use manually held hoses only during their designated water days and times (no more than once per week).

The following one-day-per-week watering schedule is effective immediately.

Watering is allowed from 12-9 a.m.  and from 7 p.m. until Midnight on your watering day. Absolutely no watering by any method between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Street address’ ending in 0 or 1 may water on Monday. Street address’ ending in 2 or 3 may water on Tuesday. Street address’ ending in 4 or 5 may water on Wednesday. Street address’ ending in 6 or 7 may water on Friday. Street address’ ending in 8 or 9 may water on Saturday.

There is no outside watering on Thursday or Sunday.

The washing of automobiles, trucks, trailers, boats, airplanes, and other types of mobile equipment and the filling, refilling, or adding of water to swimming pools and Jacuzzi tubs is prohibited. Charity carwashes are prohibited. Fountains and other ornamental water use devices are also prohibited.

Violators are subject to immediate disconnection of water service, and payment of a $100 penalty and a $30 reconnection fee will be required for reinstatement of service.
