“It ended up a great day to run,” said Head Girls’ Track Coach Gretchen Peterson. “It’s early, so we know times will get better, but we have to start somewhere. For our freshmen, this was a great way to get the nerves out. For our upperclassmen, it was good to see how much they’ve improved. Many of them had times where the finished the season at last year, so to be at that point now is very exciting. It was a great meet, and we had the best help making sure the meet was run great, too.”
The Panthers’ next track meet will take place Saturday at Fredericksburg High School.
