The Liberty Hill Varsity Volleyball team finished their District 8-3A schedule with key wins over Burnet on Oct. 25 and Llano on Oct. 29.

They came back and won the next two games 25-13 and 25-13 to win the match and finished the District 8-3A schedule an undefeated 9-0.

The Lady Panthers also swept their bitter rivals Burnet on Friday in dominating fashion. So dominating that the Bulldogs never scored more than 12 points in any of the three sets.

An ace by Peyton Redmond made it 16-6. The Lady Panthers went on a 4-3 run before a kill by Perrin and kill by Pluenneke made it 22-10.

Liberty Hill finished  the second game with a 3-2 run with a kill from Jill Green and an ace from Kelly McKinzey.

In the third and final game, the Lady Panthers started out with a 7-5 lead after a dumpshot from Perrin. The Panthers built upon that lead and went up 9-7 after a kill by Jill Green, set up by Perrin.

A kill by Pluenneke and kill by Redmond put the Lady Panthers up 12-10. They then went on an impressive 13-1 run to finish off the rivalry match. They won the final set 25-11. During that run Jill Green picked up two kills and a block and Pluenneke picked up two aces.
