DadsObituaryPictureGary Norman Cooper of Liberty Hill, TX, 70, passed away April 9, 2015 at Bel Air Teravista under hospice care. He was surrounded with family by his side when he went on to meet the Lord after his courageous battle with Cancer.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Magdalene Margaret Cooper on September 18, 2014.

Gary was a military service man. He served in the U.S.M.C., April 1, 1964 to February 17, 1966. Gary was a proud U.S.M.C. veteran. “Thank you Dad for your service.”

Gary enjoyed being outdoors, he loved to fish, hunt, camp and shooting his guns. He also enjoyed collecting antiquities and time with his family.

Gary is survived by his 2 brothers. Mike Cooper who resides in Otter Rock, OR. Scott Cooper who resides in Enfield, CT. Gary’s children, Celina A. Smith of Austin, TX, Brent R. Cooper of Lewiston, ID and Robert F. Cooper of Liberty Hill, TX. Seven grandchildren as well as several nephews, a niece and his friends.

Gary will not have any formal services at this time. A private gathering will be held with family members and several friends in Idaho at a later date. This is where both Gary and Lynn Cooper’s ashes will be laid to rest.
