The Liberty Hill Garden Club will host its 16th Annual Games Day Oct. 17 at the Liberty Hill United Methodist Church to raise money for college scholarships.
The event begins at 9:30 a.m. with coffee and rolls and games begin at 10 a.m.
The Garden Club presents two $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors of Liberty Hill High School every spring. Proceeds from the Games Day event go to fund the scholarships.
In addition to games, door prizes will be presented. The event also features a raffle and silent auction, a bake sale and plant sale and country store.
The event is open to the public and tickets are $15 each at the door.

Early Voting begins Monday, Oct. 22, and runs through Nov. 2. The Williamson County Mobile Voting Unit will be in Liberty Hill Oct. 26-27 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Liberty Hill Annex.
The Briggs community will host the 8th Annual Fall Festival at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Briggs Community Center.
The event, which is open to the public, features a costume contest, games and prizes, a cake walk, face painting, hayrides and food concessions.
Donations of cakes for the cake walk are needed. To volunteer for the event, call Crystal at (512) 556-1471.
Deputy Constable Randy Hinson will perform The Spirit of Elvis gospel hour and rock and roll. No charge for admission.
The annual Stonewall Ranch Fall Festival will be from 6 p.m. until dark on Oct. 31 in the parking lot of Bill Burden Elementary School.
The event features 16 games/activities and inflatables that are run by local businesses including sponsors Cherry’s Asian Atore, A Texas Girls Gun Store, Comanche Trail Vet, the Hill Community Church, Crossfit Liberty Hill and Little Crusaders Daycare.

The City of Liberty Hill will host a Fall Clean Up Day from 8 a.m. until the bins are full on Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Williamson County Annex parking lot, 3410 RR 1869.
The clean up day is only open to residents of the City of Liberty Hill and a City of Liberty Hill water bill is required as proof of residency.
Items not accepted include the following: household trash, tires, florescent bulbs, chemicals of any kind, appliances with freon, telephones/cell phones, industrial or commercial waste, televisions, paints, stains and varnishes, compressed gas cylinders, medical and pharmaceutical items and microwaves.
