Summer Music Theater Camp @ Liberty Hill United Methodist Church
1:00 pm – Friday @ 4:00 pm

“On the Radio” is the mini-musical that will be produced by the 3rd Annual Summer Music Theater Camp.

This musical play is a journey through time featuring hits of the 20th Century, beginning with the Depression era through Elvis and The Beatles and ending with some of today’s favorites.

This camp is for students who will be in grades 3-7 when school begins in August.

The camp meets July 7-11 from  1-4 p.m. at Liberty Hill United Methodist Church. It is directed by Margaret Wofford, who taught elementary music for more than 17 years, 11 of which were in Liberty Hill.

Participants will explore all aspects of musical theater including singing, dancing, acting, props and scenery. Students will play games, practice music, learn lines and create some great art projects to use in the production. Everyone will get a chance to do it all!

The camp will close with a production of “On the Radio” at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 11, and the public is invited to attend.

Registration fees for the five-day camp include a script, materials, snacks and a camp T-shirt. Cost is $100 before June 20 and $110 for late registrations.
