Betty Jean Bryant Dunard
Betty Jean Bryant Dunard was born on June 17, 1924 in Seymour, Iowa to Alice Eva Bryant and Leslie Clayton Bryant. Many of you now know her as Miss Betty, others as a mighty prayer warrior, intercessor, and strong woman of God! She lived a life dedicated to prayer. A lobbyist in Washington for CWA, a faithful friend to many, a beloved sister, a grandma to 12, great grandma to 10, mom to 4, and bride to one James Henry Dunard.
Betty and Jim were married June 3rd, 1951 and enjoyed 57 years of marriage. During those years they lived in New Orleans, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Boerne, California, Baltimore, Maryland, back to Texas living in Lakeway, Austin again, and finally Leander, TX.
On November 25th, Betty went home to be with the Lord. Today she is dancing down streets of gold and hearing “Well done good and faithful servant!” from Jesus himself, her Lord and Savior.
She is survived by her brother Robert Dean Bryant; her four daughters April Heiskell, Janis Pool, Karen Wade, and Linda Eldridge; her 12 grandchildren, Melody Unikle, Benjamin Heiskell, Jeffry Heiskell, Garret Pool, Daniel Pool, James Pool, Riannan Wade, Riley Wade, Micheal Eldridge, Steven Eldridge, Thomas Eldridge and Rachel Eldridge; as well as 10 great-grandchildren.
