Liberty Hill High School Band students will compete at the state level in solo and ensemble this spring.

Each of the following students scored a first division on either a solo or as a member of an ensemble. Because of the high level of difficulty of the pieces and the fact that they scored first division, they will all be competing at State Solo and Ensemble competition on May 27.

For flute solo, Melissa Shine performed “Sonata in A Minor”.

For flute trio, Karissa Crozier, Victoria Foster and Leslie Wofford performed “Classic Fantasy”.

For clarinet trio, Clayton Luckadoo, Tanner O’Dell and Kaitlyn Sullivan performed “Allegro” (from “Trio Op. 87”).

For clarinet trio, Arlayna Jackson, Bonnie McEnnis and Katie Wilkison performed “Grand Trio Op. 8”.

For French horn solo, Tosha Adkins performed “Concerto No. 1 Op. 11”. Samantha Dowell performed “Concerto No. 3” and Amber Wright performed “Concerto No. 4”.

For trombone solo, Megan Land performed “Concert Rondo K. 371”.
