Ivy Nails & Spa is open for business at its new location just in time for spring break. Warmer temperatures mean it’s time for manicures and pedicures, facials and waxing.

At the salon’s second Liberty Hill location, owner Henry Ngo and his wife Tuanh Luong offer the same fast, friendly service that has kept them in business for nearly 17 years.

“Our most popular color is by far, Panther purple. We carry purple and gold, and everyone usually wants it,” says Ngo.

He says that right now, the salon is entering into the busy seasons, and people start wearing sandals again, and want their feet to impress. With that in mind, it was the perfect time to expand.

The sister location to their current salon, Nails Only, offers 12 brand new pedicure massage chairs, along with two customized for children. There are two private rooms for customers seeking a wax job, a facial, or a massage.

“We offer a welcoming environment, without any waiting,” says Ngo.

While they were pleased with the location of Nails Only on State Highway 29 in Liberty Hill, the popularity of the salon soon became an issue.

“There just wasn’t enough space. People would have to wait, and we would have every chair full,” said Ngo.

They found a new location on Highway 183 next to First Texas Bank, and set about readying it for customers. Ngo and Luong are both pleased with the results.

“It’s so beautiful in here. Everything is new and fresh. I’m proud,” says Luong.

Ngo has four daughters, one of whom works for the salon. He also has a daughter in college, and two still in school. Running the salons gives him a chance to spend time with his family, something he greatly enjoys.

Ngo said Ivy Nails & Spa isn’t just for the ladies. Men are always welcome as well.

“I have several customers who come in on a regular basis who are men. They like to sit in the spa chair and get a massage,” said Mrs. Luong.

The nail salon offers the works – paraffin wax treatments to leave  hands and feet extra soft, hand painted nail design if you want something extra unique. Facial waxing offers an effective way to remove unwanted hair, and massage options are the perfect way to unwind after a stressful day.

The salon is located at 719 U.S. Highway 183 in the shopping center next to First Texas Bank. Ivy Nails & Spa is open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday from 9 a. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. No appointment is necessary, though they are welcome.
