Fire officials say they are investigating a fire at Starburger Restaurant that appears to have started in the attic before 4 a.m. Monday.
Starburger, 14011 W. SH 29, was damaged in early-morning fire Monday.
Captain Mark Rosenbusch said no one was present at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported. He said firefighters fought the blaze about 20 minutes before it was under control, and it appeared the heaviest damage was to the attic.
Starburger re-opened in May under new ownership. Alan Grimsley told The Independent when he opened the restaurant that, “It was such a neat little place….and I’m always up for a project.”
He re-opened Starburger with the same name, but a different menu that included fresh, all-natural Texas raised beef and local produce.
